Charities and Islamic Education – Help needed

The purpose of charity is to help the people who are in need. Most of the time charities are offered to people who have gone through a bad traumatic disaster be it natural or otherwise. Natural disasters, when they occur cause severe damage not only to the place but also to the people and they are left with nothing. In these times it is necessary for other people to step forward and offer help be it of any kind, like monetary, in terms of clothes, food, shelter and medicines, to those people as they are the ones who deserve these the most. Charities teach us to help others and inspire in us a devotion to mankind.

These charities help us in being a better person and they also help in making this world a better place for everyone. Charities are for different causes and not all of them follow the same thing. The goal is the same for all of them which is the betterment of the society but all of them have different causes which they want to improve. A lot of different charities have been set up to help people socially and economically. They have been set up to collect donations or other help from people and then providing the deserving with the basic necessities of life so that they too can enjoy a good and stable life.

A lot of charitable trusts have been set up to help others and this also leaves the person with the opportunity of not paying taxes. These trusts are usually set up by rich people who give a certain part of their property to the charity for a certain time period and any earning from the property goes to charity. If a person dies then this property will either go to charity or will be divided among the beneficiaries as suggested by the will.

Islam is the religion of peace and teaches everyone to help each other and to help the people in need. Charity in Islam is a must thing and it is a religious obligation to give something to the needy every year. Islamic charities have also been set up to provide people with help. This can also mean teaching or paying for an orphan’s studies. Islamic charities have been active in the good causes since a long time and they also emphasize on the religious aspects of charity as it helps us not to become greedy and teaches us to part from money.

Parents in foreign countries have been worried sick about their children not getting any Islamic education. They want their kids to learn the basics of Islam and to understand their religion in the right context. To facilitate the people a number of Islamic schools have been opened in Manchester. Islamic schools in Manchester have helped people a lot and are providing children with good religious education. These have solved a lot of problems faced by parents abroad.

It is important for parents to get their child the best education possible and also the parents want this. Religious education is not that emphasized these days and it should be.
