"For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, /when we have shuffled off this mortal coil, /must give us pause." This is a famous quote from Hamlet soliloquy showing his suicidal thoughts and his doubts as to whether or not he would find peace even in death. Another very popular quotation from the same speech is “To sleep, perchance to dream.”
Some people do not dream and I feel sorry for them because although they will never wake up in a cold sweat after being chased by monsters, they will also never experience the feeling of cosiness I feel as I snuggle into my Hungarian goose down duvet trying to recapture the lovely dream I was enjoying. A friend of mine went to a bed linen sale to buy a cheap memory foam mattress and claims that she slept so deeply on her new bedding that for the first time in a long while she did not dream. She said that in the morning she felt that something was missing and realized that it was the absence of trying to recall her dreams, which she records in a dream diary.
Everyone has different styles of dreaming, with some dreaming in black and white, some in glorious Technicolor and still others with no sounds. Many people have more than one dream in a night and maybe of different styles. Another type of dreaming style is lucid dreaming which is not very common. In lucid dreams a person is aware that he is dreaming and can often control the direction the dream takes.
Sleep patterns vary from person to person and the amount of sleep a person needs to function varies too. Some people can manage with only four hours of sleep a night with the most famous person in this category being Margaret Thatcher. Most of us require between six and ten hours with eight hours being the recommended length of time that most health care experts reckon we need the cheap memory foam mattress for stay healthy, both mentally and physically. A child should sleep ten or eleven hours and a new born will often sleep for eighteen hours out of twenty four. Teenagers are also infamous for sleeping away whole days and then staying up most of the night.
Sleep is nature’s way of giving our bodies’ time to rest and regenerate, when we use the Hungarian goose down duvet then we can relax both mentally and physically, in order to greet the new day with alertness and a fresh spirit. However some people find that their dreams can often leave them feeling tired and maybe even with a sense of foreboding about something or someone they encountered in their dreams. Dreaming occurs in the REM part of the sleep cycle which is the opposite of the deep sleep part and stands for Rapid Eye Movement. A person who is awoken during deep sleep will feel disoriented and not refreshed, which is why it is so important to establish a sleep routine and let your body adjust.
Here we mention the word good sleep as well. During the Crusades, Europeans espoused the Arabic process of napping on cushions terrified on the floor.

Birthday Messages and Their Advantages
Birthdays are a day when a person is very happy and expects others to share his/her happiness and excitement. These days’ birthdays are a very grand affair but still people want to be called and wished on this special day. Nothing is merrier for the person to receive the best wishes for their birthday. But so far things have changed a lot. Birthdays are no more what the used to be previously. People now are so busy that they mostly wish other people on social networking sites or through SMSs, which is the current mode of communication. People now send birthday SMS and believe that their work is done.
Gone are the days when people will enthusiastically run to stores and buy cards for their loved ones, now a text messages is supposed to be all a person needs. This is very sad as people do not understand the significance of cards and that a text message will sooner or later be deleted but a card will remain with the person and he/she will always cherish it. The trend of texting is no doubt very effective as the communication is easy and quick but this sort of communication has given way to other sort of messages. Now not only people talk trough texting but also share jokes, words of wisdom, quotes, wishes and especially wishes for special occasions. This has given rise to the trend of wishing everyone on a text message. There used to be a time when a lot of cards would come to the house on the day of the birthday but this has ceased to happen now.
These days on birthday SMS be sure that your mobile phone will be flooded with SMSs that will be of wishes and prayers. It seldom happens that someone in the family remembers to send you a card for your special day. People find it convenient to text as it does not require any effort at all. Even though a lot of text messages are sent and received and a lot of messages are sent on different occasions but as it is that the Happy birthday SMS is going the strongest in them all. The happy birthday message has gained a lot of popularity and is one of the most used SMS in the world.
People have made texting a way of expressing their feelings and this has on fact made life very easy. People have now become more expressive than they were before. Because of this the mobile companies have introduced a lot of different packages that are very good and allow the user to text more freely. A lot of different websites have been put up for the people to easily access text messages and send them to their friends and family. Some people are not good at writing messages or even at expressing their feelings but they can find the Best birthday SMSs online to send to their loved ones.
Generally SMSs are being sent everywhere and these include all kinds of messages from jokes to quotes but the one which is really common and is sent the most by all the people is the Good morning SMS.

Lotions, Potions and Oils
During a recent gossip session with a childhood friend, we got on to the topic of hair growth and related issues, and since it was a gossip session we were discussing a problem that a mutual friend was experiencing with hair fall. This friend had just started to notice that her hair was falling out in large amounts and she was panicking about bald patches. She had tried so many hair loss treatment, both herbal and medicated and was still no closer to finding a hair fall solution which suited her.
After a while we realized the cause of her hair fall to be absolutely natural as she had recently had a baby and we had forgotten our own experiences of when our hair had started to drop out a few months after the birth of our children. Once we had reassured our friend that this was a temporary state and in a few months she would hopefully notice a decrease in hair fall and an increase in hair growth, we also gave her some tips and advice.
One of the main things we recommended was applying hair oil regularly and massaging the scalp with jojoba oil. This would ensure glossy hair that would not only appear thicker but would be stronger and healthier. There are many oils available to use as hair oils and you need to try a variety to see which ones suit you best.
There are so many potions, lotions and oils on the market all claiming to stop Hair fall solution or increase hair growth and even to inhibit hair growth on certain parts of the body. The products made from herbal ingredients tend to be better for the hair as they have fewer side effects and contain no harmful substances, but the results seem to take a lot longer to appear and this causes many people to give up using them.
On the other hand a lot of the medicated products available show faster and more noticeable results, but are more likely to cause side effects like skin reactions and allergies. Amongst the products containing chemicals it is always advisable to choose those which are organic and always go for a product which has not been tested on animals. This last should also be important criteria when choosing other products such as skincare and make up, bath care products such as shampoos, conditioners and shower gels, and always whenever you buy baby products.
The feeling you get after a long relaxing bubble bath, or an invigorating shower or even just from applying moisturizer or make up, is just so nice and makes you feel clean and fresh. This is in a large part due to the use of different lotions, gels, powders, creams, oils and unguents, all of which perform different functions and have so many variations, regarding aroma, texture and price. Shop around and try various brands and do not be afraid to experiment and try new products and brands.
Naturally it really deserve this much attention. But our much busy and polluted air it is becoming much tough for us to sustain our hairs as long as we want and as much healthy with growing.

Sleep and Other Distractions
I am one of those people who are easily distracted and my family is always complaining about it. I could be having a conversation with my sister and suddenly remember something else and start talking about that instead. Whilst having a serious discussion with my daughter I will off on a tangent about something else that needs to be addressed too. Even during the time spent working on my writing I will often take unscheduled breaks and start to play games on my computer.
Although sleep is my favorite distraction, it is closely followed by catching up on my reading and getting up to make a snack. However I have never known such procrastinators as my children and nephews and nieces, and in fact most people I know in this country will always put things off. The old adage is to “never put off until tomorrow what you can do today” but these days I am surrounded by people who believe that “you should never do today what you can put off until tomorrow!”
A simple task given to my daughter, which should only take ten or fifteen minutes to complete (in theory) will often drag on for over an hour as she first has to be reminded about it three times, then she will slowly summon the energy to actually get up to start it and then half way through she will decide that she needs to visit the bathroom. Upon returning a suspiciously long time later, she will have forgotten all about the job in hand and start to do something else instead, at which point we will have words and then she will grudgingly agree that yes she will finish something which was her responsibility anyway!
Having said this I am also the sort of person who once starts a project will often get so involved in it that I will skip meals and skimp on my sleep. This last is actually a great sacrifice since I love my bed and have the most luxurious cheap memory foam mattress and a 0. Even just having a short nap downstairs is wonderful since I keep a matching set of Hungarian goose down pillows and duvet in the guest room, all of which I got at a reasonable price at a bed linen sale last winter.
The distractions facing adults these days are almost as numerous as those faced by the younger generation, but most of us realize that the work we put off doing will still be there waiting for us, whereas younger people seem to believe that by procrastinating, the chore will just disappear. My children have learned that no matter how long they spend in the bathroom, or even doing their homework, if it is their turn to dry the dishes they will still have to face them later. Of course by that time the dishes have drip dried so maybe there is a method to their madness after all!!!!!
Here we mention the word good sleep as well. During the Crusades, Europeans espoused the Arabic process of napping on cushions terrified on the floor.

Funny Messages – All About the Good Times
In the literal meanings the word funny means to amuse. It is very obvious that funny SMSs are related to something that is amusing to the public. But it is different in a sense that some people might not find anything funny about this message. Mobile phones have given way to a lot of changes that have totally changed our lives and also our ways of dealing. People have become more interested in texting than anything else and this is often very annoying for the person who is not at all interested in messaging and also for the person who is trying to convey something to the person who is texting as not enough attention is being provided to the person talking.
Text messages can at times be totally cool and a person might put up with them but most of the time they become a nuisance as the constant beeping of the phone is not exactly appealing to the ears. Even though most of the younger generation has gone absolutely crazy about texting the adults are still getting used to the entire thing. Mobile networks have added fuel to the fire by introducing very cheap packages for free SMSs, people have availed these packages and text each other at all hours without thinking that they might be upsetting somebody’s sleep. It is important to realize that other people have different routines and it is hard for them to cope with the messages pouring in.
Funny messages are basically sent to make the person laugh. These are jokes that are sent to people via text message to make them laugh and to relieve all the tension that is on them. It is scientifically proved that laughing reduces stress and increases blood in the body and is very good for the brain. This is the reason a lot of therapies include laughter as a way of getting past any depression, anger or trauma. People, due to their busy routines, don’t get time to sit and relax or watch a funny movie so for them, funny messages really work as they can laugh and reduce their tension. Funny text messages have become one of the most sent SMSs in the world as these can be sent to anyone and are not particularly for someone certain. These messages are generally very funny and amusing and most of the time people cannot help laughing.
Due to their popularity a lot of websites that contain Funny SMSs have been put on the internet so that people can easily access these websites and send their friends crazy jokes that are bound to get them laughing. There are jokes for everyone and they are in countless numbers. All these websites try to provide the users with latest jokes so that nobody gets bored and these websites are also regularly updated so the user is bound to get a lot of new messages every time he/she logs in.
Generally SMSs are being sent everywhere and these include all kinds of messages from jokes to quotes but the one which is really common and is sent the most by all the people is the Good morning SMS.

Shopping for Hair Products
As I was writing out my shopping list last week, well re-writing it really since I have a notebook in the kitchen on which I jot down what is required, I noticed as that my children had made even more additions than usual, and this made me realize that they were truly growing up and their requests reflected this.
Growing up, I remember how my mother always used to purchase a large industrial sized bottle of shampoo and this was used to wash the whole family’s hair. Going even further back I still remember having my hair washed with the same soap we used to clean our bodies with, as shampoos were a luxury to which we had not been introduced lately, and were only just arriving on the market. The first shampoos always smelled clinical and lemony, but these soon gave way to flowery fragrances, which only lasted as long as the bubbles in the lather did.
These days there are so many hair care products on the market that consumers are spoil for choice and do not always know which product, range or brand is best for them. The media and advertising have left people confused and also scared that if they do not use a certain product, they will be ostracized by their peers. Manufacturers of hair care products offer so many promises that the thinking person should really be a little wary, but in most cases we are so worried about our image that we succumb to the advertising and buy anything that sounds as though it will increase our hair growth, and as for products which claim to offer a hair fall solution or hair loss treatment, they seem to fly off the shelves.
My children, among all the other items listed, have between them, written down six different types of hair products, including shampoos, conditioners, Hair oil, spritz, serum and mousse! I wouldn’t mind so much but the youngest is only six and wants her own shampoo and conditioner-all thanks to the power of advertising. The funny thing is that they write these things since their friends use them (or more likely because they see them on TV), but they know very well that I will buy whatever I think is suitable for their hair, just as my mother did, since I refuse to allow a twelve year old to decide my shopping list.
However I do believe in buying good quality shampoos and conditioners to ensure that our hair is clean and smells nice, and yes the little one does get a Disney set for her hair! You need to try out different ranges to see which suits your hair type, and your pocket, as I have found that the expensive stuff does the same job as many products in the middle range bracket, although I would not recommend using the cheapest products as this can often be a false economy, leading to problems and also using more product.
Naturally it really deserve this much attention. But our much busy and polluted air it is becoming much tough for us to sustain our hairs as long as we want and as much healthy with growing.

Sleeping the Day Away
I read a great quote the other day in the newspaper and it really stuck in my mind. The topic was beds and sleeping and the writer had commented “sleep, you and I had a troubled relationship when I was small but now I love you so much!”
Having spent more money on these items than I had intended, my justification for splurging was that I deserved a comfortable setting in which to recover from the stresses of the day, which at the time were considerable. I had lovely visions of snuggling down after a hard day’s work, a good book in one hand and a cup of hot chocolate in the other, without any interruptions, for at least half an hour before starting the evening duties. Yes I can hear you laughing at my naivety, considering that I had three children whom although no longer needed constant care, seemed to need almost constant attention.
As for my daydreams of spending Sundays sleeping until I woke up voluntarily, as opposed to the ring of the daily alarm or the sounds of children fighting, well they were shattered from the first weekend I tried to put my plan into action with my youngest deciding that this was the weekend she would have a sleepover and inviting ten friends to stay. The famous quote is that “youth is wasted on the young” but I also believe that sleep is wasted on the young as they have no concept of how sleep affects them and see it as a waste of time.
Every morning this sentence flashes through my brain as I struggle to escape the clutches of my hungarian goose down duvet and try to block out the sight of the matching Hungarian goose down pillows beckoning me back to rest my head on them. I had brought these luxury items at a bed linen sale earlier in the year as a birthday treat for myself, but somehow never have the time to devote to them that I want.
I remember trying to get my children to nap during the day and the enormous battle it always seemed to be each day, not that I gave up, goodness no! I needed those precious few minutes (or on the odd wonderful day, a whole hour!) to catch my breath. Initially I tried to follow the midwife’s advice of sleeping when my baby did, but soon gave up in favour of a cup of coffee and a few minutes in front of the television, since by the time I had unwound enough to be able to drift off, my child would decide to return from the land of nod.
At least now my children sleep through the night and once I eventually manage to get to bed, a lot later than I would like, I do not have to leave the comfort of goose down until the morning, when it starts all over again and I count the hours till bedtime!
Here we mention the word good sleep as well. During the Crusades, Europeans espoused the Arabic process of napping on cushions terrified on the floor.

The Need for a Good Night’s Sleep
Recently our household has been in turmoil with the illness of one member and the constant flow of house guests coming to enquirer about the patient and then deciding that this would be good time to stay a few days to ostensibly help out (read on vacation!). Now, I am not the most social of creatures but I always make an effort to ensure that any guests in my house are comfortable and well looked after, whether it is for a few hours or a few days, but even I was pushed to the limit of my mental and physical resources for the past couple of weeks. The biggest casualty was my sleep!
Having children makes you realize that your sleeping hours are the most treasured commodity since they are in short supply. Before my children were born (actually even before I got married) I used to stay awake well past the witching hour, just watching TV or reading a good book. However now if I can keep my eyes open past ten o’clock I feel that it is a major achievement! I am exhausted both in body and mind and can only think about the cheap memory foam mattress waiting for me to rest my weary bones on.
Sleep is an essential part of our lives although the amount needed varies from person to person. Some new born babies sleep for twenty hours out of twenty four, while others will only sleep for twelve; I know this to be fact as I had one from each end of the spectrum, and my third one averaged about sixteen. The hard part of course is that they didn’t realize that their sleep patterns were not consistent to mine, which led to some very grumpy moments!
It is while we are asleep that our bodies regenerate and replenish our energy level sand make any small healing repairs needed. Our minds are also given the chance to have a break from the stresses and anxieties, allowing us to wake up refreshed and ready to face the new day. However if our sleep is of a poor quality or an insufficient quantity we can end up feeling as though we have not been to bed at all. To avoid this feeling there are a few tips we can follow, regarding diet and sleep habits.
Avoid eating a heavy meal two hours before bedtime, also caffeine, alcohol and spicy food, and keep the bedroom at a cool temperature, also ensuring that lighting is low and sounds are muted. Many people find that a warm milky drink helps them to relax and sleep better. Having a comfortable mattress and bedding is also important, and with this excuse for a quick shopping trip in mind, I recently went to a bed linen sale and treated myself to a set of matching set of Hungarian goose down pillows and duvet and a Siberian goose down duvet for the next lot of house guests!

Romantic Messages – The Latest Expression
It can be stated without any exaggerations that text messages aka SMSs are the latest craze among the people. Regardless of age, this is one habit that has been readily adopted by everyone. People enjoy the constant interaction between others and themselves and are very enthusiastic about texting. It is an easy way of staying in touch with your loved ones all around the globe and is not even costly as most of networks have come up with reasonable packages which let you enjoy texting all the time. This might be a lot of fun when you think about it but people have taken this facility to an extreme. They have become addicted to their cell phones and are hardly ever seen without them.
This is very unhealthy in view of the fact that this facility is making you closer to the people who are away and is creating distances between people who are with you. This is very alarming as people are more aware about somebody else’s problems than those that are being faced by people living with them. But if this habit is controlled there is nothing wrong with texting as long as you are balancing everything else in your life. Texting is a lot of fun but it is better to be able to live without this service as well.
These messages are not limited to the simple hellos; they are now more advanced and at times carry pictures, quotes, phrases, jokes, public awareness messages etc. These messages have proven to be effective form of communication which can be carried out very easily and is also very easy to learn. There has been an increase in the demand of messages as these are made up texts as well which can be forwarded to others and people have taken advantage of these texts to let others know how they feel.
One of the most used type of SMSs are Romantic SMS. These are available online abundantly on different websites and can be availed by the user if he/she is not good at expressing his/her feelings or just wants to remind the other person that they are loved and are thought of. These have recently gained a lot of popularity so their demand has increased too. These messages are like love letters. They are an expression of love and consist of very deep meanings that touch the heart. It is preferable to express your feeling in your own words but often it becomes difficult and for times like these you can take help from these Romantic text messages.
Not all messages available online are extremely good so you have to look around and choose the one that truly describes your feelings. It is important to stick to something that is relevant to your relationship as the impact is more profound then. The Best Romantic sms are no doubt those which you have written yourself but there is no doubt that the ones found on net are pretty good too.
Generally SMSs are being sent everywhere and these include all kinds of messages from jokes to quotes but the one which is really common and is sent the most by all the people is the Good morning SMS.

Advantages of Using Hair Oil
Yesterday my daughter came home from school and asked me to please oil her hair, a sentence which caused me to check her for a fever or other signs of an oncoming illness! Let me explain my reaction to her request.
When my children were babies I used to take them a newly established neighborhood center where a local midwife had established a lovely class called baby massage, where new mums could bring their babies and learn how to correctly use essential oils and massage techniques, which would benefit both mother and child. The class was very informal and the mothers left as relaxed as their babies, since we had spent an hour massaging our children, making new friends and gossiping over tea and biscuits.
I am writing this to share with you the fact that those baby massage classes gave me a new respect for the benefits of massage and oil, since the act of massage my baby as a social activity was both a bonding process with our babies and firmly embedded in our minds the health benefits of using different essential oils to cure a variety of minor ailments. Amongst the usual runny noses and upset tummies, we also learn that Hair growth can be affected by massaging the scalp with any good hair oil such as mustard, almond or jojoba hair oil.
We were taught that if the scalp is regularly massaged with Hair oil, blood circulation is increased to the hair follicles and this leads to stronger hair roots and less hair fall.Armed with this knowledge, I decided to keep up the massage sessions at home, as the children grew older and far too restless to make the classes relaxing for either of us, and made sure that massaging the head with oil became a weekly ritual. This also brought back memories of my grandmother and my mother oiling my hair and me trying to escape in as short a time as possible. Oh, how history repeats itself again!
This leads me back to the beginning of my article. As the children became older and mixed more with their friends, they decided (as had I at their age) that putting oil on their hair was not “cool” and started to make excuses to avoid it. Even though all the hair was thoroughly coated and it was always rinsed so well that no traces were left, little by little the kids escaped our weekly ritual and I found it easier to not chase them about it, especially considering the hundreds of other matters which did need to be chased.
Apparently my daughter and her friends had read an article out lining how the celebrities maintained their glossy hair and one of the top tips, in each case, for a Hair fall solution was the use of hair oils. So it looks like my Saturday nights will once again be spent administering oil to my heads of my newly converted children!
Naturally it really deserve this much attention. But our much busy and polluted air it is becoming much tough for us to sustain our hairs as long as we want and as much healthy with growing.

SMSs – The Funnier the Better
There has been a major change in our lives, a change that has not only affected us but has also affected everything around us. Mobile phones have become very popular over the years and there has been no stopping to the rage of having a cellular phone. It is as if they have taken over us completely and we are unable to function without them, they have altered our lives entirely. All the people, be it kids or grandparents will have these phones and will be on them all day long. It might be a blessing in a number of ways but at time this technology can be a total nuisance. Most of the people are very fond of these tiny wonders but there are those as well who think that life would have been simpler without them.
They sure do take away your moment of privacy but they let you do your work efficiently and without a problem. The young generation is absolutely crazy about texting, another facility provided by the cellular phone which doesn’t costs at all and lets you stay in touch with all the people you love. You can stay in touch with everyone and can have all the updates within minutes. They are effective too as people at times cannot talk on the phone so they take help from messages.
All this crazy texting has given way to funny sms on the phone. There are different types of SMSs but this particular type is one of the most famous ones. Someone very intelligent once said that laughter is the best medicine and without a doubt it is. It helps the nerves to relax and helps the heart produce more blood in the body which is good for human health. Most of the people are fatigued with their lives and the workload but are not able to get a good laugh funny text messages are their way of relieving the tension and decreasing the pressure from the brain.
It is likely that a person who has a good sense of humor and laughs more will live longer than a person who is always surrounded by tensions and problems. It is necessary for everyone to take a break from their busy routines for some good hearty laughs so that they do not harm themselves. The workload on people has been so much in current times that they don’t get time at all to sit with friends and have good time which can help in reducing stress. For times like these people have started sending each other funny messages so that it might take their mind off, even for a little while, from the tensions and work which has surrounded them.
Latest funny sms are abundantly found on the internet and can be availed by the users. There have been websites that are dedicated to provide the internet users with latest jokes and these are also regularly updated.
Generally SMSs are being sent everywhere and these include all kinds of messages from jokes to quotes but the one which is really common and is sent the most by all the people is the Good morning SMS.

A Blissful Night’s Sleep is Priceless
Driving into work this morning I saw signs (indeed it was hardly possible to miss them!)for a bed linen sale at one of the major departmental stores in the center of the city. This made me think about my own night of disturbed sleep and I decided to pay a visit to the aforementioned store at the earliest opportunity afforded to me.
Throughout the day, thoughts about sleep kept on entering my mind at regular intervals, which just goes to show the power of advertising and the importance of a well placed advert. The past few nights have been difficult due to the demands of a new baby who doesn’t yet realize that adults cannot take a nap whenever they feel like it, and so night-time is very precious to them!
Sleep is the first casualty whenever a person faces major life changes, e.g. a new baby on the scene, relationship problems, employment issues or just a shift in routines. It is a well documented fact that one of the first signs of depression or stress is losing the ability to have and enjoy a good night’s sleep, and to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle whatever the day may bring. It is not surprising that sleep deprivation is used as a means of torture in some parts of the world.
Going back to the bed linen sale that I mentioned earlier, I must say that I went to the store with the intention of just window shopping( okay, I probably intended to buy a small something with which to treat myself) as I had recently spent a tidy sum on linen and towels. After avoiding most of the pushy shop assistants, I was reluctantly lured into watching a demonstration on the newest thing on the market- the Memory Foam Mattress. This is touted as giving you the most comfortable and supportive place to rest your weary body after a hard days work, since apparently the material it is made from retains the imprint of your body for a longer time than normal mattresses, allowing it to mould itself to your contours and providing support to your muscles and joints.
Three days later and I must say that I do not regret my purchase of the Cheap memory foam mattress because of the sale and having haggled a further discount for paying cash, since these mattresses are usually higher in price than normal ones. Lying on the mattress is pure bliss since it is as comfortable as a soft mattress yet it gives the support of a firm one. Now if I could only get the baby to decide that sleeping through the night is a wonderful thing, maybe I won’t need to go back to the store to pick up the pair of hungarian goose down pillows and the matching Hungarian Goose down Duvet that were on also on display, though unfortunately not included in the list of sale items!
Here we mention the word good sleep as well. During the Crusades, Europeans espoused the Arabic process of napping on cushions terrified on the floor.

Religious Education In The Early UK Muslim Community
Back in the sixties there was a mass migration of different nationalities to the UK from countries within Europe and from the Sub-continent, setting the stage for the cultural diversity we see here today. Everybody seemed to want to jump on the bandwagon to try their luck with a new start in a new country and while there have been many success stories; there have been many more tales of sorrow and disappointment.
Although each and every person migrating had the same goal- a better life for themselves and their families- the problems faced were different for each community formed. In this article we will focus on the Muslim community and their major problems. The main concern was the correct education and upbringing of their children, and in the struggle forthis, Muslim parents really lamented the lack of Islamic Schools. Many parents felt that since there was a rapidly growing community of Muslims, there should be an Islamic schools in Manchester, to which they could send their children.
Muslims migrating from the sub-continent had to deal with economic and racial problems but these seemed to be surmountable, compared to the problems they faced regarding their children. These early migrants were generally from poor backgrounds with little education or skills, and therefore they were mainly incorporated into the manual labour force and there they stayed for most of their lives.
In the meantime the children of these workers were growing up confused as to their identity, since they were attending schools during the day, where they assimilated one way of life, and at home they were expected to adhere to a different set of rules and values. The first generation which migrated had been raised with strict Muslim values and they were used to practicing their religion as a matter of fact, and they expected their children to automatically follow in their footsteps- regarding both religion and professions.
The children were learning that Islamic viewswere not the only views around and since the parents rarely had much time to spend teaching their children the Islamic school of thought, these children were gaining an education based on western culture and ideals. Since Islamic schools were still quite a few years in the future, many parents had to deal with the fact that their dreams for their children would have to take a different direction since these children were growing up without the strict religious regimen that they themselves had followed.
These concerned parents tried their best by sending the children to the few existing mosques or any member of the community training or knowledge enough to impart some wisdom, to students, regarding their role as Muslims and what was expected from them as active members of an Islamic community in a country where they were in the minority. Some of these lessons learnt were taken on board but many of the pupils only paid lip service to keep their parents happy.
It is important for parents to get their child the best education possible and also the parents want this. Religious education is not that emphasized these days and it should be.

The Fear of Losing Your Hair!
We have all woken up and looked with a sinking heart at the hairs on our pillow, after which our next thought is OMG I’M GOING BALD! This reaction is often followed by frantically by hunting down and experimenting with the latest and most expensive hair loss treatments on the market. With a little forward thinking and some luck we can try to minimize hair fall and maximize Hair growth.
Although these days it is very common to see men with shining pates, and indeed it is the default hairstyle of many men with thinning hair, for some reason it is still considered to be a something about which men feel ashamed. They feel that the loss of their hair is somehow tied into their macho image and that they will cease to be attractive to women if they have a bald head.
Some men have decided that since they are going to have to live with the fact that they have not found a magical Hair fall solution they will still carry their bald head with pride, and have unexpectedly been surprised by the reaction of people around them. What these men are coming to realize is that women are not as fickle and superficial as they did not expect, nor will a woman decide that she no longer wants to be with a man who has lost his hair! It is a lot about confidence and the self-image you project that is attractive and this is helped by the celebrities who have chosen to go bald e.g. Bruce Willis and John Travolta, the latter whom was famous for his luscious locks.
It is true that thick and glossy hair is a lovely sight and this holds true for both men and women, although men seem to have greater problems with the issues of hair fall, as it hits them harder, leading to total loss of hair. Women also suffer from the fear of losing their hair but they have always been told that it is normal to lose a few hairs everyday and unless each brush stroke yields a full brush, women tend not to panic as much, especially since they are probably already using Hair loss treatment, along with their normal beauty regime.
Women tend to have thinning hair as opposed to total hair loss, barring any medical problems, and although this is a matter of concern, it is not as soul destroying as complete baldness-but even this is easier to handle ever since Sinead O’Conner and Natalie Port man have been very much in the public eye supporting no or very closely shorn hair and not be shy or ashamed of their looks.
No matter which hair style you have you need to realize that it is not the end of the world if it does not last as you get older, as long as you adjust your attitude and image accordingly, most importantly having the confidence to carry off any style with grace.
Naturally it really deserve this much attention. But our much busy and polluted air it is becoming much tough for us to sustain our hairs as long as we want and as much healthy with growing.

Pampering Your Hair - Charisma
Considering that our hair plays such an important role in our lives, it is no wonder that we spend so much time, money and emotional investment in it. Our hair, its condition, style and general appearance affects our self image and also, in part, the way the way that others see us. There is something very attractive about a head of thick glossy hair that makes you want to touch it and you need to ensure that your crowning glory feels as soft and clean as it looks.
Hair growth is dependent on many factors, such as genes, diet and blood circulation. Whilst controlling the first is out of our hands, the second two are even more important and we need to know that there are things which we can do and habits we can change, in order to not pay a fortune for Hair loss treatment later. Although there are many products and treatments which beg to differ, there is no overnight hair fall solution, so the best we can do is to try and minimise hair loss in the first place.
A varied diet including fresh fruit, vegetables and fish is necessary in order to provide your hair with the correct nutrients for healthy Hair growth, along with certain fats, dairy and carbs too. The second factor is blood circulation and the amount of blood getting to the hair follicles. In order to increase blood circulation, an active lifestyle is essential with plenty of exercise and daily activities which will get the blood pumping around your body. These things will not only improve your hair, but also ensure that your body remains supple and that your skin and eyes look healthy and bright.
As for specific pampering for the head and hair, one of the oldest and most effective methods involves hair oil and massage. Any oil is fine to use but the most popular ones are jojoba hair oil, almond, olive or mustard oils, and melted coconut oil. The oil is poured either directly onto the hair or first placed in the palms of the hand (to give a more controlled application) and then rubbed into the hair, usually starting with the roots and going down to the tips. It is important that each strand of hair is coated with the oil.
Once all the hair is coated, the head is massaged with the finger tips using firm circular strokes, and then by using the palm of the hand, the motion ensures that all the Hair fall solution is absorbed into the scalp. This massage ensures a double benefit for your head in that the oil makes the hair strands soft, manageable and shiny (as long as the oil is properly rinsed out) plus the actual action of massaging the scalp stimulates blood circulation, which in turn leads to greater and thicker hair growth. All this and we haven’t even mentioned the de-stressing and relaxing emotions generated by the act of receiving a good head massage.

SMSs – The Start of a New Era
Without a doubt the only thing that is at rage these days are SMSs. No matter who you are and where you are, you tend to receive thousands of text messages. These days it is very common for people to send SMS to each and everyone they know, thanks to the mobile networks who have come up with SMS packages. These are not only popular among young people as adults too enjoy this facility and make it a point to send SMSs. It is good to know that by using this facility people can now stay in touch with their loved ones all over the world and that it has reduced the distances among people but it is also alarmingly bad as people are now addicted to their cell phones and are rarely seen without them.
This might have decreased distances from people faraway but have surely increased them with people around us. But there is no denying that they have become a huge part of our life and no matter how much we try now it is impossible to let go of the urge to text. These SMSs aren’t only about hello hi and chit chat but a variety of messages are now being sent by people all around the world. SMSs have replaced all other modes of communication and have proven to be affective and easy.
Good Morning SMS is one of the most commonly used SMS. It is mostly used by people on daily bases and it does not ends on a simple good morning, this SMS in fact is also contains at times a special message, a piece of advice, a proverb or quote, a picture etc. These are very famous among younger generation and are updated on the internet regularly to provide the users with fresh SMSs so that they don’t get bored reading the same old ones.
Romantic SMS is another form of these messages. As the name suggests these messages are made for the people who are committed in a relationship or are in love. These are sent to make the other person feel special and loved because at times feelings can’t be expressed when face to face so these SMSs really help people convey their feelings and also facilitate in reminding the person everyday that he/she is loved and thought about. These SMSs can be written by the sender but if you are not much of a writer you can always find these SMSs online and can use them to express yourself completely to the person. These SMSs contain poems and meaningful messages which help in describing a person’s feelings.
Birthday SMS is one of the most sought after SMS in the world of texting. Everyone wants their wish to be very special and go to great deals to come up with the cutest or sweetest one. These are easily available online but it is preferred if they are written by the sender.
Generally SMSs are being sent everywhere and these include all kinds of messages from jokes to quotes but the one which is really common and is sent the most by all the people is the Good morning SMS.

Charities and Islamic Education – Help needed
The purpose of charity is to help the people who are in need. Most of the time charities are offered to people who have gone through a bad traumatic disaster be it natural or otherwise. Natural disasters, when they occur cause severe damage not only to the place but also to the people and they are left with nothing. In these times it is necessary for other people to step forward and offer help be it of any kind, like monetary, in terms of clothes, food, shelter and medicines, to those people as they are the ones who deserve these the most. Charities teach us to help others and inspire in us a devotion to mankind.
These charities help us in being a better person and they also help in making this world a better place for everyone. Charities are for different causes and not all of them follow the same thing. The goal is the same for all of them which is the betterment of the society but all of them have different causes which they want to improve. A lot of different charities have been set up to help people socially and economically. They have been set up to collect donations or other help from people and then providing the deserving with the basic necessities of life so that they too can enjoy a good and stable life.
A lot of charitable trusts have been set up to help others and this also leaves the person with the opportunity of not paying taxes. These trusts are usually set up by rich people who give a certain part of their property to the charity for a certain time period and any earning from the property goes to charity. If a person dies then this property will either go to charity or will be divided among the beneficiaries as suggested by the will.
Islam is the religion of peace and teaches everyone to help each other and to help the people in need. Charity in Islam is a must thing and it is a religious obligation to give something to the needy every year. Islamic charities have also been set up to provide people with help. This can also mean teaching or paying for an orphan’s studies. Islamic charities have been active in the good causes since a long time and they also emphasize on the religious aspects of charity as it helps us not to become greedy and teaches us to part from money.
Parents in foreign countries have been worried sick about their children not getting any Islamic education. They want their kids to learn the basics of Islam and to understand their religion in the right context. To facilitate the people a number of Islamic schools have been opened in Manchester. Islamic schools in Manchester have helped people a lot and are providing children with good religious education. These have solved a lot of problems faced by parents abroad.
It is important for parents to get their child the best education possible and also the parents want this. Religious education is not that emphasized these days and it should be.

SMS and Their Kinds
One thing is for sure that nobody is, in current times, free from the texting craze. Everywhere you go you see people with their phones, typing nonstop. The age group doesn’t matters and regardless of who you are or where you are, you are bound to receive countless messages. Also the mobile phone networks have fueled this activity and have introduced a SMS package which facilitate the users and allows them to text all they want for a minimum amount. These messages are sent to and by everyone, and this activity is enjoyed by people of all ages. It is convenient for people now to stay in touch with their loved ones who live far away and can’t visit too often. But this has surely created a gap between the people who live together but are bound to get ignored during all this SMS craziness.
It has made us careless about the relations who are close to us and we don’t see that all this might be annoying them. No doubt that messaging has become a huge part of our lives and we are rarely seen without our cell phones. No matter how much we try we can’t give up the urge to message. This type of communication is no doubt easy and effective but SMSs don’t just end here. There are several types of SMSs and they have their own categories. These are also exchanged among people and have become a habit for some of them.
Generally SMSs are being sent everywhere and these include all kinds of messages from jokes to quotes but the one which is really common and is sent the most by all the people is the Good Morning SMS. This is a message that is sent to people daily and the sender makes sure that it is never repeated making its demand really high. There are websites which make sure that they supply the users with new SMSs so that they keep visiting that website. This SMS is different in a way that a lot of people add stuff in it after a simple good morning. This can be anything which appeals to the sender. Good night SMS are very popular too and are often exchanged between people. Mostly they contain pictures or some serious quote or advice. These SMSs are the most frequently sent messages in the world.
Romantic SMS too is a form of SMS where the sender conveys his/her feelings for the other person and these SMSs are usually shared between people who are in a relationship. These messages can contain beautiful poetry that clearly describes the feelings of the sender, it can also contain cute pictures or saying about love. A person can also use quotes to be expressive. These kinds of texts are largely available on the internet and a sender can choose the one he/she like and can relate to. These messages have made life more easier and expressing things easier too.

Islamic Education Give the Services In Foreign Countries
“Education is the cornerstone of civilization,” and this quote is the basis of many a heated debate. Education is a major concern at the individual and national level in any country in the world, but in the west, there is the additional factor of religion having to be factored into the education system.
Let us concentrate on the UK as an example and in particular on Manchester, in the north-west of England. There has been a link with religion and education for centuries as it was originally the church and its priests who were responsible for educating initially the clergy, followed by the nobility and then finally reaching the masses (starting with males). Hence a lot of the things taught had a Christian bias and it is felt by many that this bias continues even in the modern education system. Due to this many Muslim parents felt that separate Islamic schools were needed for the complete spiritual and intellectual education of their children.
A few years ago it was difficult to find such establishments as there were many problems facing anyone wishing to open Islamic schools e.g. lack of funding, opposition from mainstream schools and fear in the local community regarding the effects on the minds of children secluded from their peers. Even today there are many critics of “faith schools” and the main concern is that segregated schooling will cause long term problems, with whole generations of children growing up unable to integrate with people whose beliefs and way of life are totally alien to them.
Today parents throughout the major cities have the choice of sending their children to learn about Islam and how to live life according to Islamic values and practices, along with the national curriculum, and many of these Islamic schools in Manchester, a city known for its friendliness and community spirit. Communities play such a large role in societies that it is essential to develop the potential within the community to such an extent that each member feels valued and represented.
Community training is has little investment but large rewards. It allows people to learn skills such as basic first aid, ESOL, short courses in childcare and business management, adult literacy and numeracy, and communication skills. It also provides a focus for local events and gives the youth something to channel their energies on, be it taking part in local sports and training, helping others such as the elderly and infirm or just somewhere they can hang out with their friends without getting into trouble.
Another part of Islamic learning is charity and Muslims are known to be generous and hospitable to both family and strangers. There are many Islamic Charities and Charitable Trusts in Manchester which have been set up by individuals and organizations to help provide community training at different levels, to try and create a sense of belonging and harmony within the local population, as well as teaching skills to enable interaction on a global level.
It is important for parents to get their child the best education possible and also the parents want this. Religious education is not that emphasized these days and it should be.

Hair Loss - Causes, Treatment and Prevention
It is with good reason that a person’s hair is called their crowning glory. A thick, glossy mane of well managed hair is a beautiful sight and the aim of almost every person in the world, male and female alike. In some cultures a woman’s hair is considered to be too much a part of her beauty to be displayed to all and sundry, so it is required that she keep it covered from the gaze of strangers.
Hair growth comes with its own set of problems and solutions but the thing to remember is that a regimen or tips that work for one person may not always work for another with similar hair type. Hair growth depends on a number of factors and these include lifestyle, diet and genes. Hair grows on average half an inch per month but this is not true for all hair types.
Let us first deal with lifestyle. A person who is active and gets plenty of exercise will have healthier hair than somebody living a sedentary life. This is because exercise stimulates blood supply to the hair follicles and this encourages growth and strengthens the hair so that hair loss is reduced. Exercise is often cited as a hair fall solution as it is better to get to the root of the problem (pun intended!) before trying other Hair loss treatment.
Another part of your lifestyle is the regimen you follow for the maintenance of healthy hair. This includes the fact that you need to wash hair frequently with a gentle shampoo and to take care that all the residue is washed away. After this a conditioner is often applied, especially to the roots, and this makes the hair smoother and more manageable by straightening the fibers in the hair .An essential part of your routine should be to apply hair oil at least once a week.
Hair oil comes in so many varieties that just like with shampoos, that it is hard to choose one. A popular choice is Jojoba hair oil whose qualities nourish hair and some claim that it helps improve hair growth and health. Although using oil does help condition hair, the very act of massaging the scalp increases blood circulation which in turn increases the rate of Hair growth.
There are many commercial hair loss treatments as well as many more home remedies available to anyone looking for a Hair fall solution and some of these can be very effective, but having a varied and healthy diet which includes plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, dairy and some meat and fats is essential. Also necessary is to reduce your stress levels .Both of these changes go a long way in preventing hair fall.Hereditary genes also play a large part in determining your hair type and it is unfortunate that hair loss can, in part, be blamed on our genes, especially those from the maternal side-just another thing to blame women for!
Naturally it really deserve this much attention. But our much busy and polluted air it is becoming much tough for us to sustain our hairs as long as we want and as much healthy with growing.

Charities given by Islam and Community service
Charities are offered by everyone for one purpose and that is a cause, it can be for the betterment of mankind, some sort of aid, betterment of human life, and aid for starvation etc meaning in short it is offering help. Charities are conducted all over the world and everyone makes a certain donation to it by offering money, clothes or related items depending on for what cause it is. Like all these charities Muslims too offer charity in the name of religion. As it is a known fact that Islam is a religion of peace and believes in justice for all, Muslims are generally very generous donors.
It is also a religious compulsion to give charity at least once a year. They strive to provide relief where ever it is needed. Islamic charities not only help monetarily but also provides medicine, clothes, transportation etc in case of a natural or manmade disaster. There have been alot of relief funds which have been setup to help the people by the Muslims but due to the bad situation these days it is hard to know that where the money you are donating is going to end up so you should always donate money to those people whom you trust and know about that they will utilize the money for a good cause.
It is important to have religious values and have knowledge about religion no matter where you are in the world. A lot of people had these complaints that due to being settled abroad they are unable to provide their children with religious values with which they were brought up and that the children had absolutely no understanding of their religious roots. To provide the parents with peace of minds there have been built various Islamic schools in Manchester who provide religious education to the children and also give insight about it. These schools offer really educational courses which help the students in getting to know about religion and also help them to fully understand the purpose of their life and what is expected by them. They are provided with good moral upbringing and a view to tell right from wrong.
A community is group of people who share the same values, same culture, same religious thoughts etc. The people in a community stand together and help each other in the times of crisis and rejoice in the happiness of others. These people take care of the needs of the people in their community and they stand together be it for any cause. Communities are of various kinds and don’t have to be restricted at one point. community training is given to the people who volunteer for it and want to provide their services for the society. They are given the basic know-how about easy things and are made capable to be able to do something to help their community flourish and progress and make it a better place.
It is important for parents to get their child the best education possible and also the parents want this. Religious education is not that emphasized these days and it should be.
