Different SMS and Their Popularity

Good Morning SMS is one of the most sent SMS. People are in the habit of texting these days and they want to start it with a good morning text. These people spend most of their time texting and as good as it seems it is very annoying for the receiver. They make up messages or get them from online and they have a supply of new SMSs every day. Initially people were really happy with this service but as time is passing it is becoming frustrating for people. There isn’t a moment’s peace in a person’s life anymore. Good morning SMS is particularly important because this is the first text message that is sent by the sender and will probably be the first message that will be read by the user. This is to imply that the sender remembers the reader and is therefore sending text messages to let the receiver know that he/she is on their mind. These people are usually early risers and the mobile phones of people might start beeping at the crack of dawn. Cell phones were created to make communication easy and efficient. They were supposed to be used for emergencies but people have now started using them for entertainment purposes.

Texting was introduced when people got hold of cell phones but text messages were very expensive so most of the people stuck to calling every time they needed something but then the mobile networks introduced amazingly good packages that were really liked by people. These packages were reasonable and allowed people to send free texts to anyone in the country hence the mania of texting begin. In the beginning however it was more about talking in text but now it has become about everything but talking. People send others various kinds of messages and they pass them along making a chain of SMSs. Good morning SMS usually include a cute message with prayers or even a picture. It is to send good wishes to a person so that his/her day is spent nicely. There are various kinds of SMSs and most of them fall into different categories. Some of these texts also include quotes about morning or a new day, quotes or saying about the weather that day or simply about how the person is thinking of the receiver and hopes that the day goes fine. This SMS is very popular and is sent daily to different people. Everyday there is a new text message.

There are other messages too that are very popular. People have adopted messaging as a means of expressing their emotions. Romantic SMS are being sent to people these days and they are considered a way of expressing one’s feelings. Funny SMS can be easily found on the internet and these are sent to people to relax them. These SMSs have replaced cards and are regularly updated so that the user has a variety to choose from.

Generally SMSs are being sent everywhere and these include all kinds of messages from jokes to quotes but the one which is really common and is sent the most by all the people is the good morning sms.

The Power of a Lovely Smile

A very close friend of mine is a dentist who accepted one of the dental scholarships being offered in her college and attended two dental schools (not being happy with her first choice due to personal reasons). She was also eligible for one of the medical scholarships offered but refused, since it was to a Medical College in the UAE, and, instead, graduated with honors from one of the best school for dentistry in the country. She has always talked about how a nice smile can really change certain things about a person’s life, and how important such things are.

Without being vain, I can honestly say that I have been complimented many times upon my smile and it has often worked to my advantage, by getting me better service in shops and restaurants. My teeth are not the greatest but apparently my smile lights up my face and makes other people happy to see it. We are always taught that a smile costs nothing but this is not always correct since sometimes it does cost a lot of effort to smile at someone when you are not in the mood. However, the best results are achieved at this point as, just by smiling, you can improve both your own and somebody else’s mood.

Many people believe that a smile is easier to do than a smile since less muscles are required- 14 for a smile and 17 for a frown, but new research show that smiling uses 12 muscles and frowning only 11- making smiling a better exercise for your face! There is an old English saying; “turn that frown upside down” and it basically means telling someone to go from being sad or angry to being happy. It is not used so much these days as the answer will probably be to “mind your own business,” but when we were growing up we used to hear it all the time from teachers, shopkeepers and even total strangers whom you met.

When meeting someone for the first time we base our impressions on many things, mostly physical, and one of these is the way a person smiles at you. A genuine smile which reaches their eyes will make you feel good and trusting whereas a forced smile will automatically put you on the defensive and decide that maybe something is not right. Similarly, a smile showing bad teeth or halitosis will be off-putting and give you an unfavorable impression. Having a regular oral hygiene routine is essential and this includes six-monthly dental visits for regular check-ups and proper cleaning. In-between visits it is important that you brush thoroughly for two minutes morning and evening, as well as flossing everyday.

A lovely smile is also important for your own self image and makes you feel more confident, since knowing that you look good will free your mind to concentrate on the matter in hand rather than worrying if you have spinach stuck in your teeth!

A visit to my dentist the week before had resulted in root canal treatment and although it was not the dentist’s fault, that is whom I cursed all week.

Treatments for Hair Loss

If you sit down and watch TV for just one hour, you are sure to see at least four different commercials for hair care products, ranging from shampoos to hair tonics. All of these products have one thing in common, apart from being hair care products- they all prey upon your fear of losing your hair. Each and every one of them will try and make you believe that unless you start to use that particular brand of product, you will start to suffer from hair loss and that in turn will mean that you should just crawl into a corner and die of shame.

The reality however is not quite as bleak as these commercials make it out to be, for which we can be very thankful since if we believed them and decided to fall for the hype, we would rush out and buy every product we see, which would be disastrous for our hair, pocket and bathroom shelves! Hair loss treatments are an important issue for a lot of people and are a serious topic of concern and conversation, along with hair growth and hair fall solutions.

One of the effects of aging is a marked increase in the rate at which our hair starts to fall out, although there is no fixed age at which this becomes more prominent, with some people experiencing baldness in their teens- the famous swimmer Duncan Good hew being a prime example of this. Others will start to notice thinning hair or bald patches in their thirties or forties; whereas I know of some pensioners who still have a full head of hair. Men, generally tend to suffer more than women from this affliction which is probably a good thing since a bald man is a lot more attractive than a bald woman.

Hair loss treatment come in various forms with the most common being tonics to rub onto the affected areas or fortifying shampoos and conditioners. The truth is that there are very few treatments which will stop hair fall completely, only delay the process, and a lot of hair fall solutions are applied too late, or have side effects. The best way to ensure that you have strong, healthy and shiny hair is to massage your scalp and hair with a good quality hair oil such as jojoba hair oil or almond oil. A lot of the new shampoos available are now being advertised as including oil for helping with Hair growth. Hair oil also makes the individual strands of hair stronger, smoother and shinier.

Hair loss is also affected by your lifestyle and a big factor is stress, which can lead to hair fall and other scalp related problems. A poor diet which does not include most of the vitamins and nutrients required for healthy hair growth, is also to blame for hair loss as the scalp is weakened, causing the hair to either break or fall out, leading to a thinning head of hair.

Naturally it really deserve this much attention. But our much busy and polluted air it is becoming much tough for us to sustain our hairs as long as we want and as much healthy with growing.

Making Your Home More Inviting

As we were growing up our parents had a busy social life in which we were expected to take part, therefore we were made to tag along to weddings and functions whether we wanted to or not. Some of these outings were fun and there were other children to play with, but a lot of the time we had to accompany our parents on visits which we really did not want to attend. Sometimes they were to long religious meetings, or to their friends’ houses where there were no kids or sometimes to see people or even places of interest to whom us children had taken a disliking to for some unfathomable reason, in the way that children will often do.

Looking back now, I realize that even as a child I had picked up on certain vibes and indications that all was not well in that house and that made it unwelcoming for me. Even now there are certain houses I really do not like going to and try to avoid as much as I can, since being there makes me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome that I become moody and bad company. Sometimes it is the company in the house but a lot of the time it is the whole atmosphere of the house itself.

In order to make a house into a home you need to add personal touches that character and charm to the place and in order to make it seem inviting you need to add small but important details. For instance in the guest bedroom, use Hungarian goose down duvets and hungarian goose down pillows which can be picked up at no great cost from a good bed linen sale, or if you prefer to you can go for the Siberian goose down duvets instead. These give the image of luxury and make a guest feel important, as does having a good mattress such as a cheap memory foam mattress, which makes even an old bed feel new.

A home needs to be clean and tidy and to have pleasant smells wafting around, since it is so off-putting to walk into a house and have your nose assaulted by unpleasant odors. A house that is bright and airy is always a good thing and you can enhance this image by with the use of light colors and furniture, with flowing drapes and not obstructing natural light. Colors need to be used with care so that the overall effect is not garish, nor too boring. Picture and ornaments personalize a room and it is always better to be on the minimalist side that to go too fussy and make the place look cluttered. Arrange furniture so that it is conducive to conversation and always remember that the most important factor in making a house seem inviting and welcoming is a genuine smile on the face of the host which shows that they are happy to see you in their home.

Here we mention the word good sleep as well. During the Crusades, Europeans espoused the Arabic process of napping on cushions terrified on the floor.

Good Night and Happy Birthday SMS

Good Morning sms are very common these days and they are being sent so often that people are now getting quite sick of this trend and nobody likes to be awakened at five in the morning by the constant beeping of their mobile phones, which continues till 12 in the afternoon. More often than we would like, we get these text messages that are of no concern to us. They are like added work and are very annoying when they keep coming in the middle of a phone call. It is like people don’t know when to stop. There is nothing more annoying than constant text messages. It often happens that due to these text messages we sometimes ignore an important message that we later regret and also at night when we finally prepare to rest the mobile phone won’t let us as it will still be beeping.

Textaholics don’t understand that people have lives other than sitting and reading text messages and that at times it can be very frustrating for a person to receive these messages especially if a person is in an emergency or in a meeting. It is sad that people do not understand that this act is an invasion of someone’s privacy as people do need some time alone away from all the noise but there are people out there whose sole purpose of life is to send text messages. Initially this was quite ignorable because out of twenty there was one person who would go crazy with this technology but these days text messages are used for everything. It’s like people don’t believe in calling anymore and all they can do is send a text message. The messages which are commonly known as forward messages are usually riddles, jokes, quotes, facts, saying and phrases that people want to share with each other and so they make a text message and send it to their loved ones and this makes a chain of text messages which does not stop.

There are all sorts of text messages so there is no surprise that the Good night sms exists. Like the good morning SMS this too is sent daily and has a very high demand. People want to have all the latest good night SMSs so that they can be the first one to send them to someone and also so that each night they have a new text message to send. These text messages usually have pictures of teddy bears, flowers or someone sleeping or else it has a really cute good night wish. People send saying about resting and a day ending. They find a reason to text and make sure that the other person sees what they saw in it. Happy Birthday sms are all flowery and cute and have really nice wishes in them. Most of the people would keep sending different birthday SMS to the birthday girl/boy just to make him/her feel special.

Generally SMSs are being sent everywhere and these include all kinds of messages from jokes to quotes but the one which is really common and is sent the most by all the people is the good morning sms.

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

One of the truest sayings is that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” and let us be very thankful for that! There are certain things which are considered universally beautiful but even here there is room for disparagement. For example, one person may find the sight of a flower filled meadow beautiful to behold, while another person may find that same view of to be terrifying since he suffers from a fear of open spaces.

When it comes to the human form there are so many differing ideals of what is beautiful that it is really not fair to compare the notion of beauty across the globe. A trait which is considered beautiful in one country or culture can be viewed as unattractive in another. All over the world women deny themselves the pleasure of eating in order to become or remain thin, whereas in certain countries a woman is only considered to be attractive if she is on the larger side, and having a heavy wife is considered to be a status symbol since it shows that the husband is wealthy enough to feed his wife!

In the western world, generally, female beauty is measured by a few standard yardsticks. These include being tall, slim and fair-skinned as well as having a flawless complexion, gleaming white teeth and a glossy head of hair. Having all these traits is not enough unless you have the features to go with it too, such as large shining eyes, a straight pert nose and bee stung lips, all of which is hard to find in one single person. Thankfully this is where diversity shows its advantage and the mix and match of these assets is what ensures that almost everybody is found attractive by somebody.

Although many people find baldness to be attractive, for most people having healthy, shiny and thick hair is important for their image and self-esteem. Hair growth and all its related problems is a topic discussed at large by all and sundry and everybody has their own favorite hair fall solution theory and Hair loss treatment product. One of the best treatments that is prevalent in many countries is the use of hair oil and this could be in the form of jojoba hair oil, coconut oil, olive, almond or mustard oil.

The oil is massaged into the scalp and all the hair is covered with it, after which it is left on for a couple of hours before being thoroughly rinsed out. This procedure makes the hair soft and manageable as well as adding a shine to it, and there is no need to use a separate conditioner after shampooing. The massaging action on the scalp has the effect of increasing blood flow to the hair roots and this in turn helps with hair growth as the hair follicles are strengthened. Hair is less prone to breakage and less split ends means fuller looking, smoother and healthier hair.

Naturally it really deserve this much attention. But our much busy and polluted air it is becoming much tough for us to sustain our hairs as long as we want and as much healthy with growing.

The Lot of The Modern Teacher

Last week I bumped into an old friend that I had lost touch with after college, and it was lovely to catch up on all the things that we had experienced since then as well to reminisce about our school and college days. Our lives had taken vastly different paths and this was one of the reasons why we had not stayed in contact with each other, the other being that she had moved to the other side of the world and this was in the time before global communications were so easy.

While I had chosen to stay near to my hometown to complete my studies, she had decided to accept a medical scholarship to a Medical College in the UAE, which she later changed to a dental scholarship at one of the best dental schools in the country. Having graduated from school for dentistry, she then proceeded to establish a successful and highly lucrative dental practice, which she now maintains with two other dentists.

We got to discussing our old teachers and deciding that with the advantage of hindsight, and the fact that we no longer had to study with them; our teachers were on the whole a strict but fair bunch compared to many of today’s teachers. In our school days corporal punishment was only just going out of fashion and new laws were coming into effect, although they were too late to help us. Thankfully we had both been good students generally and rarely had to feel the pain of the ruler coming down hard onto our palms. One teacher used to make students bare their arms and hit them till they turned red, and yet another teacher used to keep an old canvas shoe on his desk which would be hurled at any unsuspecting student caught talking in class.

Physical or verbal abuse cannot be condoned especially where children are involved, but these days’ teachers have no power to reprimand a child, since even an upsetting comment can be blown out of proportion and the teacher punished more than the child ever was. Teachers in modern schools have to be a lot braver and aware than in our time because many children are taught how to respect and obey authority figures, and as a result you will find that teachers have to face insults, teasing and even assault.

Add these problems to low salaries, little opportunity for promotions, and the rising cost of living, not to mention the dwindling power and authority given to them, it is no wonder that the number of people choosing a career in teaching has declined in recent years. Even the teachers who stick to it are becoming disillusioned and no longer seem as committed to their chosen careers as they were in the beginning. Of course there are still wonderful teachers around for whom teaching still holds joy and the hope that they can mould and guide a young mind to a bright future.

A visit to my dentist the week before had resulted in root canal treatment and although it was not the dentist’s fault, that is whom I cursed all week.
